The Austin Pearce Building’s flexible spaces feature retractable tiered seating and removable soundproof partitions, so it’s ideal for conferences that require adjacent exhibition space or multiple plenary rooms.
We can configure the building’s spaces in a number of combinations, including tiered theatres, cabaret seating and exhibitions.

The School of Management’s impressive auditorium is a modern venue seating up to 418 people in comfort. With state of the art audiovisual facilities, this is the perfect arena for speeches, lectures and larger discussion sessions.
There are also seven seminar rooms, seating up to 60 people, so breakout sessions can easily be accommodated. Sorrento Coffee Bar and the Lakeside Restaurant add another possibility to your plans.

A meeting for four people can be as important as a meeting for 400. This stand-alone building is perfect for smaller events that you don’t want to squash into small rooms.

With twelve flat meeting rooms seating 30 to 80 people, our Teaching Block is perfect for events requiring flexible layouts or multiple smaller spaces.
All rooms have natural daylight and top-quality audio-visual equipment, with open spaces and coffee shops and bars nearby.
Wates House is one of our most flexible venues, with a range of room types and a cash bar. This is a perfect location for meetings, small conferences and events that require a mix of formal and informal spaces.

Tucked into the hillside beneath the cathedral, and with extensive views from its rooftop terrace, Wates House has one of the best locations on campus.
As well as meeting rooms and a licensed bar, Wates also has a full stage in a flat room with overhead viewing gallery. Perfect for all kinds of events, from panel discussions to dinner dances.
The Meeting Centre
The meeting Centre is a suite of purpose built modern meeting rooms close to the University's Surrey Sports Park. Each of its four rooms either has stunning views of Surrey Sports Park and the North Downs Way or a fantastic view of Guildford Cathedral and the surrounding area.

The newly refurbished flexible meeting rooms are perfect for a range of events, including presentations, board meetings, receptions and seminars.

Hillside’s main restaurant area has floor-to-ceiling glass panels that we can configure to provide separate dining, lounge and bar areas for your event.
Roots is a stylish bar venue for parties, informal meetings and smaller gatherings for up to 85 guests.
Roots is a funky mix of vintage and contemporary décor, with comfortable seating and a retro-style bar.
The bar has a modern “plug and play” sound system, so your guests can create the soundtrack to your event via your iPod or mp3 player.
